Rabat and Casablanca yare to play host to the 2022 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The 1942 Hollywood classic which is one of the world`s best-loved and most iconic films ensured `Casablanca` will always have global appeal, while in football terms of course it is home to two of African football`s continent powerhouses in Raja AC and Wydad CA.
For three glorious weeks of football these two fantastic cities will host the battle of the African women`s football crown.
The world-class stadiums of Rabat`s Prince Moulay Abdellah and Prince Moulay Hassan Stadiums and Casablanca`s Mohamed V Complex will play host to the WAFCON`s 26 games.
Morocco will kick off the tournament in Rabat against Burkina Faso on Saturday, July 2. At the Prince Moulay Abdellah Complex at 22h30.The women’s Cup of Nations will run from 2-23 July 2022.
