Ongwediva – Liberty Heritage School (LHS) hosted a Private Schools sports tournament at Ongwediva Valombola Vocational Training Centre Sports field from 21 – 22 July 2023. Different private schools in the Oshana region have taken part in the competition. The tournament featured many different sports codes such as male and female soccer, basketball and netball. The tournament is the first of its kind and will always take place. Khartoum - Nine people, including four soldiers, were killed when a civilian plane crashed in Sudan due to technical reasons, the army said. The fighting has left millions trapped in their homes and some without water, particularly in the suburbs of the capital Khartoum where residents were calling for food donations to help them survive. In a war-devastated district of the city, Abbas Mohammed Babiker says he and his family have only been able to eat once a day.
