Manchester United defeat winless Liverpool to secure their first premier league win after suffering two consecutive defeats from Brighton and Brentford in their first two premier fixtures.

Ten Hag’s first eleven which did not include Cristiano Ronaldo nor Harry Maguire saw Rashford and Elanga start a fresh departure. It was in the 15th minute that Jordan Sancho hit the net with a beautiful goal after dribbling past Milner to secure the lead for Manchester United in the first half.

In the second half, Liverpool started very well but United managed to score again and extend their leadJust seven minutes into the second half, Martial, who had come on to replace Elanga, controlled the ball and found Rashford with space through a long pass.

However, in the 81st minute, Liverpool managed to pull one back thanks to Salah who headed the ball into the net after a rebound from De Gea’s save.
